In recent months, more than 90 000 miners in Peru have taken to the streets to protest some government efforts to formalize.
The solution for the state is in the completion and payment of taxes, however, many miners are certain threats in the formalization possibly losing rights in the exploration and production. This problem is resolved fully but at the highest levels of government with the participation of various social sectors, the problems will intensify and the social and environmental consequences will be disastrous for Peru. There
finally different edges on this issue because the miners did not want to work more intermediate processors of minerals (Main reason for the strike in Chala - Arequipa near the middle of 2010) and makes them less economic gain and the State argues that it is necessary to formalize these companies to better manage environmental issues. It only remains to say that there is a huge responsibility to this issue State and closing his eyes or forget this major economic sector - social, have more conflict in the coming months.
