Cuando uno está involucrado de una u otra forma en el mundo de las revistas, uno sabe que este negocio es complicado (por lo menos en el Perú), nosotros que en nuestro país, no existen muchos aficionados a la lectura y menos aun a la lectura de revistas. Es por ello que sabiendo de estas limitaciones, han habido revistas que han sabido sobrevivir a este mundo que poco a poco esta siendo comido por el internet.
Por eso, las pocas revistas que han sabido sobrivivir han puesto sus números para la venta del Internet y han sido de cierta manera exitosas. Existen vanity fair magazines have always had a loyal following (physical and virtual), there are also entertainment magazines that are sold worldwide, there are other political magazines cut have done well in Peru (People in Time Magazine or Masks now) and finally among many others, the cultural cutting multidisciplinary journals. On this last point I stop because I certainly involved somehow to make more than 10 editions of this kind of cultural magazines.
For me, the first place worldwide in print and digital sales remains the Reader Digest (in our country is better known as Picks), which undoubtedly had the strength of sobrivivir to the ravages of the internet and are doing well in the marking.
With regard to the Peruvian magazines, arguably Quehacer Black Label or had a relative success is hard to beat with the issues of free magazines online or print editions. Let's wait what the future he hopes to journals in the XXI Century.
